ALL-SOLID CAROLINA SERIES II ARE THE ULTIMATE BLUEGRASS GUITARS

December 8, 2005

Made from all-solid woods and with classic pre-war style features, the new Johnson Carolina Series II (JD-26/27) are bluegrass guitars with a big, booming tone that’s perfect for flatpickers.

Series II Carolinas feature fully scalloped forward-x bracing for tonal strength and resonance, a solid Engelmann spruce top, solid African mahogany or East Indian rosewood back and sides, grained ivoroid binding and a one-piece maple neck.

These handmade guitars are the ultimate in pre-war style craftsmanship. Outstanding detailing includes original abalone/M.O.P. inlays, a traditional diamond volute, and a vintage-style beveled pickguard.

The Carolina Series II are designed by designer Greg Rich, with quality control standards set by craftsman Scott Zimmerman. The Carolina Series are pre-war style guitars made for anyone with an appreciation for quality and pristine craftsmanship.

Johnson Carolina Series I and II are available now and will be showcased at the Winter NAMM 2006 Show. Johnson, a division of The Music Link, is a leading manufacturer of premium musical instruments.
